Bats in the Belfry was started in August of 2016, and serves as a personal diary and collection of my daily life, my writings, my faith and witchcraft practice, my photos, and to discuss the things that I love.
The name was inspired by the Bauhaus song, “Bela Lugosi’s Dead,” specifically the opening section:
White on white translucent black capes
Back on the rack
Bela Lugosi’s dead
The bats have left the bell tower
The victims have been bled
Red velvet lines the black box
The blog’s current incarnation is hosted by A Small Orange, and uses FlatPress as a blogging platform. I currently do not offer any kind of hosting.
